two souls turned black, buried in snow. the stars hang in the air.

(034) someone i'm not

i don't care anymore. you're not in my dreams. you've never seen the stars up close. how could i forget? i'm just made of glass. i'll most likely end up getting broke so make sure to handle me with care.

the pictures laugh at me every time i remember how all that loneliness brought me to my knees. he'll never comprehend the reasons i was picked up and pulled out from that void. now, i see in the dark... but i can't hear myself when i start trying to talk. it's all just a blur.

maybe i'm just paranoid. maybe i'm someone i'm not. maybe the rabbit hole does go on forever.

an incompetent administration we call our "government" with corporations who follow like sheep, craving for money.

rich, white men who will do anything to have it all.

economically disadvantaged kids fresh out of high school who are sent off to kill and be killed in the name of a falsified and unjust (no, wait. it's justified because of 9/11) religious "crusade" to iraq. all because of an oil-hungry leader who claims to have morals and be born-again. a person who doesn't know what it is like to put his own life on the line and fight for his country. a cocaine-sniffing dry drunk lunatic who has always has his ass bailed out by his daddy. a "human being" who came from a family that never had to worry about money - partly due to their ties with the saudi royal family and their relationships with the bin ladens. they call this murderous thug george w. bush. and lest we forget satan himself - dick cheney - the man who's really making the decisions. not to mention the demented mastermind of this whole charade who's hiding in the shadows and pulling all the strings - karl rove.

you've got to hand it to these people folks. they're motto is to confuse and fuck over the general public, and they're very good at doing it nonchalantly while everyone is hypnotized in front of their television sets.

(032) the truth within you

some people die without seeing all the beauty in the world. others simply die because they don't know what to make of it.

the only truth that exists and matters is the one within you so go find it.

when you do, make sure you are wearing sunglasses so that you won't be blinded. that way, you'll still be able to see in full-blown technicolor like the rest of us.

(031) in heartbreaking silence

the world you know, so fragile and honest. the relationships you grow, so meaningful yet mild. the hearts you break, so casual and out of time. the smiles you fake, so misleading yet effective. you're standing over the promises you couldn't keep. you're letting your sadness shape your future. you're drinking the past until it's gone. you're finally starting to make sense.

i can't breathe. keep going about your daily life. i'm just confusion. you might as well forget about me too while you're at it. i'm just a distant memory. i'll end up washing ashore if you leave me to drown anyway.

waking up to the winter's coldness may be inevitable, but the only thing keeping me warm right now is you. the secrets you unknowingly revealed were all lacking that one thing, but now it's too late. the leaves have already fallen to the ground, and you can't reattach them. the memories you've left here will sleep in heartbreaking silence.

(030) "president bunny pants"

45 million americans have no health care. 35 million americans live in poverty. about 3.5 million americans are homeless. over a billion people live on less than $1 a day. the richest 10% of americans own 80% of all wealth. working women in america make an estimated 30% less than men.

yet our government is doing absolutely nothing to change any of this. why? because they don't care. this administration believes that as long as they have all the money and power in the world and health care for themselves, they really don't give a damn about your livelihood. george w. bush, our born-again president with moral values (although he enjoys to drink and snort a little cocaine every once in a while says "oh no! wait!! we can't kill anymore unborn babies!!"

but he's gonna kill and kill and kill as many walking, living people as he can in iraq. and to think about all those women and children being murdered - for what? oh well. he doesn't care. they're not real people. they don't count to him. as long as he has his mandate and him and his corporate buddies have their profit - they're happy (and that's all that really matters). all they are are a bunch of bloodthirsty, bible-thumping, neo-fascist thugs.
